Net metering

For Eversource customers with systems up to 100 kW, extra power earns a bill credit equal to the Default Energy Service charge, the Transmission charge and 25 percent of the Distribution charge. Customers on a competitive supplier do not get the Default Energy Service part, and other utilities' terms may differ.
